Genesis

In  2005 a group of homeschooling parents wanted to engage and challenge their boys. The Boy Scout program, well developed, mature, funded, and resource rich was chosen. This group was an offshoot of H.I.S, Home Instructed  Students. The parents wanted to use the BSA program, and, following the teachings boys received at home, determined the focus be evangelical in origin, and desiring to build Christ like character in their sons. Troop413 was chartered under H.I.S Extra.  Troop413 in Farmington New York was registered with Finger Lakes Council and met at Faith Bible  in Farmington.

We joined Troop413 with the purpose of expanding the program into Monroe County. After two years, the process was started to setup an Troop and Pack in Monroe County. We looked for an organization that had similar vision as the adults looking to setup  the Troop. A Home Schooling organization was selected, and negotiated registering/chartering the Troop. A Statement of Faith is required to join the Troop. This explains the nature of the Troop, our evangelical stand on the Scriptures, out reach in purpose.

We now have 27 in the pack, and 12 in the Troop.

Our number? 122. It's origin? 2 Cor 1:22 "He set his seal of ownership on us, put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guarenteeing what is to come"
